About Christine Rivers

Christine Rivers Living a sedentary life in Los Angeles, California, was not what Christine Rivers had in mind to do for the whole of her life.

Her desire to travel began at a young age when her well-traveled Aunt paid her a visit, bringing stories of the many places in the world she had lived. These stories ignited Christine's desire for adventure. Traveling became a call that needed to be answered.

Since then, Christine has been to 70 countries on 6 continents and has circumnavigated the globe, twice. Her desire is to convey with an artist’s hand the wonder of her encounters, inviting onlookers to break from their busy schedules and experience a world of painted landscapes, primitive textures, and the ever-changing canvas of the setting sun.

The artist currently resides in St. Petersburg, Russia, with her husband and two children.
