Description
Just 20-minutes away by boat from Tonga's capital lies the rustic island of Pangaimotu. Its charms consist of a beautiful white sand beach, a few swaying palms, and a restaurant Hemmingway would appreciate.
The large sunken boat, so close to shore and buried so deeply in the sand, left a bit of mystery to ponder on that beautiful afternoon. What could have happened to make it sink the way it had? I asked myself that question and came up with some theories, but still do not know the real story. Maybe it is better that way.

Thank you for participating in my contest. Wow, how cool is that. I can't imagine being able to get up close to it. So cool how it rises out of the water so much. Great shot. L
