An unexpected spray of color graced the sky the other day, leaving those who were traveling home speechless at its magnificence. I happened to be traveling along the causeway across the Gulf of Finland and had to stop along the side of the road to simply stare and the changing colors of this sunset.
The locals say it it best when they say, "Here in St. Petersburg, we don't have seasons; we have weather," because the temperature and weather conditions can change multiple times in a day. My heart was filled with awe that on this particular evening the sky was clear and appeared to be on fire.
